For all the ultra-minimalist, light-packing people, may we proudly introduce our new compact travel soap case for half soap bars!

As you’ll see from the images, it is a little too small to accommodate a full-size bar (orange full-size bar, white half-bar), but is ideal if you’ve got a short trip planned, or would like your soap to come with you while you’re out and about, and want to take something very compact.

But where are the half bars?

We don’t sell half bars of soap, but you might have noticed that our full size bars are a long rectangular shape. Why? So that they can easily be cut in half to create two decent-sized square soaps!

(If you’re feeling extra minimal, some customers even cut their bars into thirds for overnight stays or to accommodate tiny sinks in downstairs loos).

Note that the cases won’t accommodate a brand new Shampoo or Shaving soap, but will do after a few washes.

Please take care when cutting soap bars – common sense applies: keep fingers well clear and best to do it on a chopping board. When cutting our Castile soaps, it is also a good idea to do this as soon after purchase as possible as they can get very hard over time.

Top Tips

As these cases are too compact to accommodate one of our soap pads, we recommend tipping out any water between uses and leaving the lid off where possible. You can also press a bottle cap into the underside of your soap bar to raise it up and help to dry out between uses.
