All our soaps are 100% vegetarian, most are also vegan. The only soaps that aren’t vegan are our Gentle Goat’s Milk, Oatmeal Soother and limited edition Mint Mojito soap. I was excited to try these soaps, due to all the good reviews but, unfortunately, like so many other soaps/cleansers they really irritated my hyper sensitive skin.
I tried the Castile first, for a few days, this caused my forehead to become red, itchy and flakey, my mouth to feel sore and my nose to itch.
I then tried the Coco Castile (in the shower) which caused me to itch all over.
I would like to point out that this may not be due to the soap itself, but due to the very hard water in the area that I live in, causing a failure to rinse away the soap residue, both from my face and the bathroom sink.
The soaps themselves are fairly priced,a good size, are not strongly scented, and the packing is environmentally friendly.
The soaps also arrived in very good time, and I was kept up to date by the vendor.
I will be investing in a water filter for my shower, which will hopefully improve the rinsing away of any residue (as I’d rather not throw four bars of soap away).
